Six Instagram accounts that showcase our Bondi backyard

From its picture perfect natural beauty to vibrant community of locals and tourists alike going about their day, there's nothing quite like Bondi.

Looking to brighten up your Instagram feed? Whether you live near or far, below are some of our top picks when it comes to accounts that showcase our suburb in all of its splendour.

Anthony Glick

Bondi lifeguard, Anthony Glick is a talent in front of the camera in his role on Bondi Rescue, and also behind the lens. Visit his feed for shots of stunning sunsets, aerial views of beautiful blue waters and beaches brimming with colourful umbrellas, plus close ups of barrel waves, among others.

Anthony's prints of Bondi, nearby beaches including Bronte, Tamarama and Coogee, and those further afield, such as Bryon Bay, The Amalfi and Wanaka are available for purchase via his website, too.

Aquabumps

Founder (and Bondi Journal interviewee), Eugene (::Uge) Tan's dedicated following of sun, sand and surf lovers flock to the Aquabumps page for his daily musings, which showcase Bondi in all its glory.

Think picturesque sunrises, swimmers, surfers, and waves in all their unique shapes and formations. While based in Bondi, you'll also find ::Uge's shots of beaches in countries ranging from Italy and Hawaii, to Tahiti and the Maldives within the feed.

Bondi Ripper

As its name suggests, this page celebrates the various facets of Bondi life—and it also showcases beaches such as Bronte and Cronulla.

Elisa Eves

This pink, purple and golden hued feed is brimming with awe-inspiring sunsets and sunrises from various vantage points, along with the moon in all its glory.

Captured and curated by Sydney-based Elisa with her trusty Canon 5D Mark IV, it features Bondi cliff tops, buildings and landmarks, and of course, our iconic beach, along with the city skyline, and renowned sights such as the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.

Isabella Dobozy

Isabella's passion for photography began in 2015, when she became a lifesaver at Bondi Surf Club, so it's safe to say you'll find Bondi features all throughout her feed. Expect to catch dolphins in their element, revellers viewing full moons at Ben Buckler, Icebergs pool as the sun rises and we welcome in another blue sky day, large swells through to calm waves arriving on the shore, and more.

Morning Bondi

Paris-born, Sydney-based Amaury Treguer has been capturing the various aspects of Bondi life since 2011, establishing a keen following both locally and abroad along the way.

You'll find Amaury at the beach each morning, camera in hand, and the Morning Bondi feed features everything from run clubs pounding the pavement and groups swimming the bay, to surfers taking to the waves, and iconic sights complete with stunning sunrises.
